For permanent hair reduction, NU:YU use a Medical Grade Lumenis IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) machine. IPL hair removal technology provides better control and flexibility than Laser Hair Removal equivalents. IPL is generally safer and more effective than laser, however IPL does require greater training. All NU:YU therapists undergo extensive training in the use of the IPL and are externally certificated.
